Bette AbduBette Abdu is a Certified Zentangle® Teacher (CZT) in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.  She discovered Zentangle in 2007 via an online link from an artists group.  After receiving her official Zentangle kit she became totally engaged.  She immediately started telling everyone about this method of creating abstract art that anyone can do.  She was one of the people who cajoled Rick and Maria (Zentangle’s founders) into creating a program for teachers.  In February of 2009 the first CZT Seminar was held at Oakhurst in Whitinsville Ma.  Of course Bette was there.  Since then she has actively taught the Zentangle Method, has run a retreat for CZTs, attended the CZT #4 Seminar, attended the Master Class (Aug 2010) and will run another CZT Retreat in October 2012.

After escaping from corporate life where she worked in high tech sales she started a business to produce instructional videos, abba dabba Productions, LLC , with well known artists who work in polymer clay. Bette still makes polymer jewelry that frequently has a Zentangle influence (see the Design Originals book “Zentangle 6” now published by Fox Chapel)
